THESE are four (4) 1" buttons or pinbacks of Emma Daring, the 17 yr. old heroine from my YA novel, WIT'S WORLD: NEVER WAS. Em is a Dark Girl and aspiring illusionist. She also watercolors, takes pinhole photographs, puppeteers, stage acts, fences, throws daggers, and picks locks. She fends off ex-boyfriend Shade whilst living at her magician family home and business The Waffle Wizard with her twin Pip Daring.
The fourth button is of the mysterious Wadjet. Wadjet is the snake-headed protector goddess of Egypt whose Eye became the Eye of Horus and the eye of Ra. Em wears the symbol of Wadjet below her left eye because she and Pip are born under the Egyptian astrological sign of Wadjet.
